Our Team

Dr. Kara Schneider

PhD, LIMHP (she, her)

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or seeking a space to better understand yourself, therapy can be a powerful place to begin. I provide counseling to individuals navigating a wide range of mental health concerns, and I genuinely enjoy working with clients from all walks of life. I view therapy as a collaborative space—one where we can explore, grow, and co-learn together. I believe that much of the healing that happens in therapy comes from the relationship we build. My hope is to create a space where you feel safe to bring all parts of yourself into the room as we work toward greater wholeness and self-understanding.

I'm deeply committed to the work of each client I see, which sometimes means gently but directly challenging patterns or perspectives that may be keeping you stuck. I do this with care and respect, always with the goal of supporting your growth, healing, and meaningful change.

I also value transparency throughout the counseling process and bring a straightforward style to our work together. You’ll always know where we’re headed and why. And while the work we do can be deep, I also believe in the power of humor. When appropriate, I use it to build connection, ease tension, and remind us that healing doesn't always have to be heavy.

  • Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA (she, her)

    - I practice from the Postural Restoration approach, a holistic model in physical therapy. I believe posture is a reflection of the “position” of many systems in the human body that are either regulated or deregulated.

    - I believe in a collaborative process and together through this approach we will address your neuromuscular patterning then will work towards an increased freedom of movement, decreased pain, and a more regulated nervous system.

    - I hold a core belief that change and healing is possible for everyone, just usually not linear. So my role is to guide my patients through that process, empowering them to find their independence again.

  • Provisional Mental Health Practitioner, PLMHP

My approach centers on meeting individuals exactly where they are and help them tune into their emotional world. Together we make sense of the patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others, moving at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive for you. I work with individuals across different ages who are navigating a wide range of mental health concerns.

In our sessions, we pause and gently notice what’s going on inside. We pay close attention to your emotions, needs, and internal patterns, creating room for the parts of you that are seeking understanding, compassion, and clarity. I bring insight into the process so you can understand why you may be feeling the way you do and make sense of your experiences.

You can expect a supportive environment where you can feel seen, heard, and not rushed. We’ll move at a pace that honors your readiness while still supporting growth and meaningful change. I offer gentle guidance and a collaborative process while your voice leads the way. Over time, you’ll build deeper self‑understanding, gain clarity in your emotions, and strengthen your connection to who you are at your core.
